Friends of Readfield Park

Friends of Readfield Park is enhancing the community through events and park improvements.

Readfield Park, located next to Readfield Elementary School, has exciting improvements coming! The plan includes a half-mile walking/biking trail around the perimeter of the park and school as well as an obstacle course addition to the playground that incorporates fitness equipment for all ages.

Readfield Park is the hub of life in the Town of Caledonia. Whether cheering during evening DMR softball games, playing before and after school at Readfield Elementary, and or attending Caledonia Fest, people across the area enjoy what Readfield Park has to offer -- but it will offer so much more with these improvements!

We need your help! These improvements will be funded by donations and grants. Your generosity will help make these improvements possible.

The plan for Readfield Park includes:

• A perimeter walking/biking trail (estimated cost: $35,000) Done!

• Obstacle course addition to the playground (estimated cost: $40,000) Fundraising in progress

• Adult fitness equipment (included in obstacle course) Fundraising in progress

• Improved landscaping (cost will vary) Fundraising in progress

• Construction of a storage building (estimated cost: $10,000) Done!
